PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

From the Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians and Friends,

I am writing to thank you for the warm-hearted, open- minded, and considerate manner in which you, as a community, have responded to the Coronavirus situation. The school has just over a dozen students unable to return to Australia because of travel restrictions, and we are supporting those students.

What is particularly pleasing is that we have not had any incidents of vilification or harassment of any of our students from the north Asia region because of xenophobic fears stoked by the outbreak. Likewise, we have not had parents withdrawing their children from school for similar reasons.

We pride ourselves on being an open and tolerant school, and I want to thank you for standing by those values when it mattered.
