3/4 News
It has been a busy term in Year 3/4. Firstly, we would like to take the time to congratulate all of the students who did their First Reconciliation this week. The students were so revered and their responses during the celebration, clearly showed the excitement in their choice to develop their faith and take this next step. We are so proud of them all. Here are some photos of when Fr John visited them this week.
In Year 3/4, students have really been enjoying our Inquiry unit. They took part in an Incursion on Convicts and Captains a few weeks ago. During this time, they took part in several rotations to help them understand the life and times of explorers; including slang vocabulary. The highlight was clearly the chance for them to dress up as a convict and a captain/explorer in the interactive session. To follow up their learning, students have also been working on a small project, researching an explorer and their journey.

Friday Morning Yoga
Recently we have introduced a new activity to St Augustines. Friday morning yoga. Yoga is really beneficial for the mind, body and soul. Friday morning yoga is our time to relax and reflect on our week. It's all about taking your time, focusing on your breathing and enjoying the moment. During yoga we learn a range of different poses from tree pose to downwards dog. We look forward to our many more yoga sessions to come!
