Professional Cadetships Australia 2022 Business Cadetship applications now open for current Year 12 students

Learn more about this Cadetship opportunity available from Professional Cadetships Australia (PCA) by taking a look at this video and website explaining everything you need to know about their Business Cadetship Program. As a Business Cadet, youcombine university study in Sydney with paid work at UBS, at Barrenjoey Capital Partners, or at Macquarie Group. The Business Cadetships Program allows you to choose the university where you will study and allows you latitude in your choice of degree program. Interested students are advised to carefully read all the information provided under the different sections in the PCA Business Cadetships tab here. 

Applications for the PCA 2022 Business Cadetships Program are made online and close 25 May 2022.

Monash University Art, Design and Architecture (MADA) – Make Transformational event on 26 March from 10am to 12:30pm

This Melbourne Design Week 2022, all Year 10 to 12 students are invited to join MADA for a hands-on workshop, where they’ll get to experience the unique Monash approach to design. Make transformational learning experiences through creativity, curiosity and collaboration is an opportunity to visit the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at the Monash University Caulfield Campus. This specially designed experience day is for high school students interested in design futures, from years 10—12. For more info and to register for this free event click here.

The ANU HASS and Languages Showcase will run again in 2022 in early April

This event is designed to assist prospective students explore and experience what ANU offers in Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS). School students will have access to a plethora of discipline related talks and drop-in academic advice sessions. This virtual event will run from 4 – 7 April and feature short Zoom webinars presented by our leading experts across a range of disciplines. Each day of the week will feature a specific category so you can choose which day excites you the most, or join in on all days! The sessions will be from 4 to 6pm each day and the event will include:

  • Sessions structured around the themes of: ‘Social Sciences and Government’, ‘Humanities, Society and Culture’, ‘Understanding the past’, ‘Creative Arts and Music’ and ‘Languages’.
  • Interaction with current ANU students to learn about life at university and demystify the world of tertiary education.
  • Finding out about ANU internship and field work opportunities.
  • Exploring ANU virtually.

ACU Talk with Industry Series – April online events

Join ACU for one of their Talk with Industry events, a series of panel discussions featuring ACU graduates across a range of different professions. Get helpful advice and find out what it’s like to work in your area of interest. The events scheduled for April are:

 

Talk with Teachers – Tuesday 5 April at 6pm

Join ACU online to hear from ACU teaching alumni who are working in education. Take part in a Q&A session with ACU graduates and learn about their experiences going from the lecture halls to leading their own classrooms and how they make a difference to young people’s lives. Register here.

 

Talk with Lawyers and Criminologists – Wednesday 6 April at 6pm

Join ACU online to hear from ACU alumni about their experiences working in legal practice and how they have made an impact. Take part in a Q&A session with ACU graduates to find out where a law degree can take you. Register here.

 

Talk with Business and IT Professionals – Thursday 7 April at 6pm
