Nunga News

Niina Marni,

This week we had our first Nunga Group for the year. Mr. Kennedy found a large Aboriginal puzzle in the library so we took it upon ourselves to put it together to see what it looked like! It turns out it’s a great resource for students to learn about Aboriginal art, storytelling and language. The puzzle is a large mat made up of three Aboriginal stories describing land animals, sea creatures and spirit ancestors. This is something that all classes can use to share Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Enjoy the photos!

Nukun,

Kath
