Celebrating our tremendous Threes and fabulous Fours !

3/4A - Mrs Bryant and 3/4B - Miss Brook

3/4A and 3/4B have been working together to ask and answer questions while looking at text. First, we learnt that text doesn’t have to be just books and words. In this lesson, we looked at pictures of animals doing interesting and peculiar things in the Olympics and at a market in the ocean.

3/4C - Mr Lewis

As part of the personal and social capabilities curriculum, we have been exploring the minds of the Superflex and Unthinkables team, which aims to promote self regulation, social thinking and emotional literacy. The students used their knowledge of the Unthinkables to create their own Superflex characters - channeling both positive and negative behaviours.

3/4D - Mr Mitch

This week in 3/4D, we explored the minds of the Superflex and Unthinkables team which aims to promote self-regulation, social thinking and emotional literacy. The students used their knowledge of the Unthinkable characters to create their own Superhero.

3/4E - Miss Margarita

We have continued to explore place value in Maths. Students showed all the different ways they could represent a number using place value. Some students challenged themselves by renaming as ones, tens, hundreds and thousands, rounding to the nearest ten, hundred, thousand and by locating the number on a numberline.
