Art and Language Gala

Hear our poets in action!

We are thrilled to have Lee Pennefather and Avery Feng performing their poetry in the Art and Language Teen Gala, at the Wheeler Centre this Thursday 24 March. Lee and Avery were both standout performers in their Year 8 Slam poetry unit last year at school, and went on to great things in the Victorian OutLoud Poetry Slam competition.

The gala features an all-teen lineup, and will explore and experiment at the intersection of words and pictures. Bringing together Victoria’s best young storytellers and spoken word performers, each performance is accompanied by a digital artwork splashed on the Wheeler Centre big screen. Witness the combination of art and language bringing stories to life!
