Creative opportunities for the NHS community

A couple of media competitions have just been announced that our amazing creative NHS community should enter and potentially be bathed in glory. Make films, take photos, design apps, games and more! 

There are categories for Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Open categories for any daring parents who want to participate. See below for info on the 2022 ATOM Awards and the 1 Minute Film festival.

If anyone wants tips or to potentially play with some of our equipment in order to realise your concept, reach out to the Media team: we may be able to help (B-Block office downstairs)!

ATOM Awards: Call for Entries

Help us celebrate ATOM’s 40th anniversary!

The ATOM Awards have established themselves as a mainstay of both the screen industry and education sectors. And this year, we are celebrating forty years of recognising film and media excellence.

The ATOM Awards offer great opportunities for budding screen content creators to engage a vast audience and to have their work viewed by industry leaders and professionals. Winners and finalists enjoy significant opportunities to gain exposure, including in the National Screenings Tour, which runs throughout the following year.

Selected winners and finalists from the 2021 ATOM Awards – including all finalists in the student categories – can be streamed online at atomawards.org.

The 2022 ATOM Awards are now calling for entries across forty diverse categories of film, television, animation, educational resources, and new media such as mobile apps, ebooks and games.

There are categories for students at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, as well as open categories for established media professionals and emerging screen content producers (so parents you can get in on this one too)

Entries for the 2022 ATOM Awards close midday AEST, Friday 3 June 2022.
