Dear Brookside Community,

At September’s School Council meeting, we were pleased to approve the below items:

• New Book Company - Paperchase Office National
• Year 9 Fundraising Events 
  • 20 September Sausage Sizzle - Year 9 Graduation Photo booth
  • 10 October Bake Sale - Year 9 Graduation
  • 15 October Mental Health Awareness day - gold coin donation to Headspace
• Year 5 Kemizo Excursion

Stay tuned for further information later in the year on the above.

We are excited to have approved the playground recommendation to replace the Year 5-6 playground (illustration below), this will now require planning and I will keep you up to date on its progress.

We would like to thank Adam Bright for his wonderful contribution to Brookside as both an Assistant Principal and Acting Principal and wish him luck in his next adventure.

Our New Principal Violeta Dellidis will start on Monday 14 October.  Please give her a warm Brookside Welcome!
