I would like to welcome the following 7 new international students into our friendly and vibrant school community:

Soui Morihisa ( 3/4 B), Mike Ding ( 3/4 A), Komon Morihisa (5/6 A), Alison Singsuphan

( 7A) , Yuhan Zhang ( ELC), Anton Liu ( ELC) and Ella Liu (ELC)

It’s great to see they have all happily and comfortably settled into their new school life at Collingwood College. Our dedicated and supportive school staff members will be committed to supporting them throughout their educational journey with us.

We also have 7 beautiful Year 12 international students who will leave us at the end of the year. All the Y12 class of 2022 had to deal with the challenges of living in the pandemic and 6 lockdowns in Melbourne for the last 3 years of their high school life. For these international students, the pandemic has been an extra burden which many other students don't face . These international students don’t have their family here to support them and they couldn’t visit their family due to the border closure. But thankfully our 7 Year 12 students are so resilient. Not only did they weather the pandemic safely, but also, they all successfully completed their VCE studies. This has made me so proud of them.
