Investigation Time

We have had a terrific start to Term 4 and Investigation Time has been a highlight of our return to school. Some of our new favourite areas to explore include the vet, castle, insects and marbles. 

Literacy

This term we have begun exploring non-fiction texts and the features that they contain, photographs, contents page, diagrams and glossary.  Last week we read 'The World of Ants' and created our own written reports about what ants 'have', what ants 'can' do and what ants 'need' to survive.  

Numeracy

DuringMaths our class has been exploring money. We have enjoyed learning about the different Australian coins, discussing their values and ordering them from the most valuable to least valuable. Our favourite activity has been creating coin rubbings in our maths books.
