Intermediate Boys Cricket

On Wednesday 14th of September our Intermediate Boys Cricket team competed against Nathalia at Nathalia Secondary College.

Jude Ryan and Nate Rasmussen opened the batting, setting the tone early with some quality ground strokes. Nate was first to fall, scoring 32, soon followed by Jude, who was caught in the deep, also on 32. 

Matt Harrington and Hugh Kerlin steadied the ship, piling on the runs before falling for 37 and 48 respectively. Harrison Foster played a late cameo, scoring a quick fire 39, leaving Ray Pearson and Jerome Carty to see out the final deliveries, getting the total to 5/196 off 20 overs.

Our opening bowlers and pressure in the field got us off to a strong start, being very hard to score off. Under pressure, our bowlers performed well, with clutch overs from Jasper McArdle, Matt Harrington and Hugh Kerlin to seal the deal in the final 6 overs. Our boys kept Nathalia to a total of 5/138 off 20 overs.
