Rubicon Camp

Rubicon Camp-

After many anticipating nights the day finally came for the year 10 students to proceed off to camp at Rubicon Outdoor School. 

After what felt like a short bus ride we briskly arrived to camp, settling in to our cabins and getting sorted into our groups for the next five days. 

The upcoming three days consisted of exciting full-day activities for each group whether it was Skiing, Rafting or Mountain Biking. When not doing outdoor activities we filled our time with fun in the games room (either playing pool, table tennis or even learning to play the guitar or piano) and socialising at dinner. 

Promptly enough it was the last day and time for the year 10 students to say goodbye to Rubicon and hello to Rochester again.

Outdoor Ed Bike Riding-

Over the last few weeks our Outdoor Ed students have been lucky enough to work with David from Green Pedal Cycles. 

We have hired E-Bikes and learnt some bike and road safety, bike maintenance including how to change a tyre, and parts of a bike. We have then used our skills to ride the Rochester River Track, Echuca scenic drive and over the new bridge to Moama. 

Our students have been loving this experience, especially with a few entertaining stacks in the mud along the way!
