The Parents and Friends Association recently hosted a social morning tea to welcome our 2023 Prep families to the school.  While their small people were in the prep classrooms for their final transition session, families and carers made their way up to the Biz-E-Kidz kitchen for a morning of chat, connecting and great food.  

A huge thank you to our sponsors Mörk and Jaspresso for their scrumptious sweet treats.  Both businesses are school families making this connection extra special, and we thank them for their generosity in providing chocolate brownies (Mörk) and matcha cookies and Oreo slice (Jaspresso).  

Lucy Bond welcomed the families to the school, gave a brief introduction to the role of Parents and Friends and highlighted the importance of connection between families and the school.  

Year 6 students Tanush, Harry and Roisin ably ran the registration table, handed around baked goods and provided an insight to incoming parents on the school buddy program, camps and more.   

Current prep parents circulated to provide answers to all those little questions that incoming families find so valuable.

In all, it was a very happy morning, and the level of conversation and engagement indicated the potential for some lifelong friendships being formed.  We also hope to see some of these new families join Parents and Friends next year!
