New Campus Update

Our new vertical campus on Molesworth Street is under construction. 

The new campus will operate as a Prep to Year 2 junior campus, and a kindergarten for three and four-year-old children will operate from level five of the campus.

The project was anticipated to be complete for day 1, Term 1 of 2023, however due to construction delays, the campus will not be operational at the start of the new school year.

We have been working with the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) to put in place interim arrangements for our school and for the new kindergarten. 

NMPS students in Prep – Year 2 will start their 2023 year at the Errol Street Campus and move across to the Molesworth Street Campus once construction is operational, for the start of Term 2. 

The building is currently being fitted out internally, with external services and landscaping works also progressing.

For Term 1, 2023 Molesworth Street Kindergarten will operate from our Errol Street Campus (subject to regulatory approval) and relocate to its permanent home on level five of the Molesworth Street Campus when works are completed, for the start of Term 2.

To support this, our school’s OSHC program will be temporarily relocated elsewhere at our Errol Street Campus, with all costs associated with the relocation to be borne by the VSBA. 

The interim kindergarten space will be adapted to suit the needs of the kindergarten children in line with national early childhood education and care regulatory requirements. 

This will include access to an outdoor play area that is separate to the primary school playground.  To support this, works to retrofit the kindergarten space will commence on site from December and will be complete by the end of January (subject to regulatory approval).
