Mazenod/Avila Musical – Freaky Friday

The College musical has been running for over 20 years and is a great opportunity for students to experience the world of musical theatre.

All students, regardless of ability, are invited to audition for this year’s musical.  Information has been provided by Avila and can be found here MATCO Freaky Friday Website.  Auditions will be held at Mazenod on Thursday 16 February between 3:45 – 6:00pm. Students are required to attend for their allocated audition time.

Please note, successful students will be required to attend ALL rehearsals which will take place after school, on weekends and during the school holidays. 

Ensembles and Orchestras are back!

Inaugural Mass

The Mass will be held on Friday 24th February at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne. 

Brass and string students will be required to participate in the Mass along with our Liturgy Choir (members will be finalised soon).  Rehearsals for the Liturgy Choir will take place on Wednesdays at lunch time and your son will be notified of his involvement.

There will be an extra rehearsal on Wednesday 22nd February at the Cathedral.

An excursion request will be forwarded as soon as possible.

2023 timetables are now available on MazCom.  It is imperative that students get in the habit of checking timetables on a regular basis as changes often occur.
