P&C News:

  • Our Carols at the Flats sausage sizzle was a great success. Thank you to all the families and volunteers for your support. We would like to thank the school’s staff for organising such a lovely evening.
  • Class party catering was completed thanks to our lovely canteen staff.

Unfortunately our AGM has been rescheduled to Wednesday 15 February 2023 at 6.30pm in the school library for the year 2022, due to our audit being delayed with our accountant.

We have some executive members who will likely be moving on as their child/ren go onto high school in the near future. We are running with very low numbers and without a minimum number of volunteers, the P&C cannot continue.

Volunteers are needed for various positions including Secretary for 2023, but also your skills and experience can assist in helping our committee to do our best, for our students’ learning experience. This may include just helping out at our various events throughout the year. It is very rewarding to contribute to making our school even more fabulous.

It would be ideal if someone could join us with a view to prepare for the Treasurer role and Vice President during 2023.

Roles to be nominated and appointed at our upcoming AGM:

President

Vice President 1

Vice President 2

Treasurer

Secretary

We are a very small group so please consider joining us at our next meeting.

Lastly, I’d like to thank Mrs Wigny, the school staff, our parents/carers, and local businesses for your ongoing support throughout this year.

With your support, we have been able to run term discos, various BBQ’s, the Colour Explosion Fun Run, our Pie Drive and Mother’s & Father’s Day stalls again. Your commitment to our children’s education is highly valued and very much appreciated.

We have been able to contribute $22,000 towards the K-2 decodable readers, and $7,686 towards solar panel installations amongst other valuable donations.

We hope you have a safe and fun festive season. Thank you for your support throughout 2022 and have a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy  New Year ahead.

Clare Tomkins

Treasurer

Next meeting: AGM 6.30pm Wednesday 15 February 2023 in the school library.
