This week, our PBL focus is 'Having a growth mindset'.
When students believe they can get better at things, they understand that time and effort helps them develop their talents and intelligence. This is having a growth mindset.
A fixed mindset means you believe that your talent and intelligence is fixed and can’t be improved or changed overtime.
Not giving up when things are challenging and facing changes with a positive attitude is having a growth mindset. The way we talk to ourselves (self-talk) or the thoughts we have about ourselves, influences how we feel and what we believe we can achieve.
"Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right." Quote by Henry Ford
