FROM OUR DEPUTIES

A MESSAGE FROM VICKY FRAANJE (DEPUTY PRINCIPAL)

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you have had a restful holiday and are eager to see what 2023 has in store for you.  It is my pleasure to oversee People, Wellbeing and Daily Operations this year. What a privilege it is to interview and appoint new staff, I am in awe of God's provision in bringing fabulous people into our BHCS Community.  If you see a new face, please make them feel welcome.

This year we have introduced Wellbeing periods into our timetable, this will be a time when our students from Prep-12 spend time with their Homegroup teacher to discuss in a safe space,  some of the issues, ideas and challenges that confront our children.  Stay tuned for more information about Wellbeing at BHCS in 2023.

To help you recognise some of our new teachers, we have created a short video. Enjoy!

A MESSAGE FROM IVAN SESKIS (DEPUTY PRINCIPAL)

I wanted to extend a very warm welcome to the Belgrave Heights Christian School (BHCS) Community as we celebrate the beginning of the 2023 school year and our 40th year as a school.

I know that the teachers at BHCS are excited to be back in the classroom. Teaching and educating your children about the many wonders of life and bringing curiosity to learning are just some of the many things that teachers do, and they love it. It brings us joy when we see students develop a love for learning and a sense of belonging. As a Christian school we want to continue to nurture the development of faith through the Christian story, Christian Community and Christian character.

We pray that God will continue to bless you and your family this year.
