COVID-19 Vaccine Support and Advice
The Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health has launched a new program designed to build confidence and increase rates of COVID-19 vaccination across school communities.
Each school is encouraged to nominate their own Vaccination Champion, who will be offered special communications training, resources, and sessions from the Department of Health. This will enable them to share information, answer questions, and discuss concerns around the COVID-19 vaccination program. By building our network of vaccination champions, each school can support the health of their community and return, as soon as possible, to continuous onsite learning.

Bus Fees
Just a reminder that you are now billed based on your days booked for the school bus, not your usage. No refunds are available for changes.
Outstanding School Fees
Please note that in future, all overdue fee collections will be carried out by an external agent. Should you have an outstanding balance, and no payment arrangement has been made, you will be contacted by a representative of Watermans Receivables. This is not Debt Collection – this is an outsourced “reminder call” service only.

Thank You to Coles Oakleigh
We are grateful to Coles in Oakleigh for their generous donation of a microwave oven for our Year 12 students.
The microwave has been placed in the Year 12 common room where it is now available for all our SS students.
Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF)
The CSEF is additional financial support to families offered by the state government. If you have a means tested concession card, please complete the CCSEF form to receive this credit off your fees!

Paperless Statements for 2021
Just a reminder that all Fee Statements are now sent via Email, unless you advise the School that you wish to continue receiving your Statements via regular mail. If you believe the School may not have an up to date Email address for you, or you wish to continue to receive your Fees Statements via regular mail, please contact Sylvia via email accountsreceivable@oakleighgrammar.vic.edu.au to advise. If you have not received your Statement, please check the “Junk” folder of your email in case it has gone there.

A Message from Admissions
Both our ELC and Prep 2022 classes are at full capacity.
Waiting lists are now growing longer for entry into many years at Oakleigh Grammar from the ELC through to Senior School.
If you or a friend wish to enrol your child feel free to join us on one of our tours, and complete an enrolment application or download the form here.

A Message from First Aid
Reminder to Update Your Child's Medication and Documents
Dear Parents/Guardians,
If you have received an email from First Aid requesting to update medication or documents, please make sure these are sent to First Aid.
It is vital that we have the correct up-to-date medication & documents to care for your child.
Failure to do so can result in students being asked not to attend School, camps and excursions.
Also, a general reminder for parents that if your child is unwell or presents with the mildest of symptoms, they must stay home, as this helps to eliminate the spreading of germs.

Absentee Line
The Absentee Phone Line and e-mail address can be used by parents to report student absences promptly and conveniently.
Simply phone the line and state your child's name, year level, estimated duration of and reason for absence after the tone.
Your message will be sent directly to Student Services so that your child's absence can be recorded. Reports of absences WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED via any other means other than those listed below.

Lost Property
Please check your child’s school uniform to ensure they have not accidentally taken a peer’s blazer / sport jacket / etc. home with them by mistake.
Please also ensure all of your children’s uniforms are clearly named to ensure the correct uniform is returned to them if found in the playground or taken to lost property at the front of the canteen.
We have several blazers and jumpers that have been left at reception with no name on them. Please visit the front of the canteen or contact reception@oakleighgrammar.vic.edu.au to make an inquiry.

A reminder to families to please ensure that you are not missing out on important information for your child/children and please ensure your email contact details are current as all correspondence from the School is via Email and Parent Paperwork.
