A reawakening!

It has been wonderful to see the students return to school and to see them back in our libraries on both sites. The conversations have been wonderful, usage is creeping back towards pre-lockdown and our new books on display are attracting attention! Study lessons have started looking more serious, with most of our VCE students working hard. This is a critical time of year for Unit 3 and 4 students, and we are here to assist in any way that we can.

Please send any finished titles back to us.

It has been hard to borrow and return for most of the last two years. In terms of overdue books, we will not be charging for returns and would love to see them come “home” now that they can travel. After next week we will start sending overdue messages. If you have any queries, please contact me: msimkin@hamiltoncollege.vic.edu.au 

Signing off Year 12 students:

After the final exam all students need to be signed off on things such as Library resources. Textbooks borrowed from the Library and not returned will be charged for, as will Non-Fiction titles such as dictionaries or book relevant to topics that are studied The process also allows me to farewell each special individual who has completed their learning journey with us.
