KHS Staff and Students Grow a Moe for Mens' Health

The male staff and students of Kempsey High School have decided to participate in Movember this year. Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, and their goal is to "change the face of men's health."

Since inception, the Movember Foundation has raised $837 million and funded over 1,200 projects in more than 20 countries.

The aim of our male KHS staff and students is to generate some interest for this men's awareness initiative and have a bit of fun along the way. Depending on restrictions those that have participated will try and organise a BBQ shave off and prizes for Tuesday the 30th November. We wish them well in growing awareness and their Moe's.
