Taking Care of our Community

Families in isolation receive care packages

During the recent COVID-19 cases in our community, Kempsey High School, Clontarf and NASCA got together and organised food and care packages to be made up and distributed to a number of our community members who could not get out to get these supplies themselves.

The KHS staff and other local businesses donated a number of food and personal care items, that were then packaged up and distributed via the Clontarf bus and KHS staff members to a number of our families who were in isolation.

We hope that these packages helped a little in easing the burden on our families in having to organise these necessary items themselves. We hope that isolation was eased a little in knowing that they had these items on hand. Thank you for protecting yourselves and your community during these trying times.

Many thanks must be extended to Clontarf, NASCA and all the Kempsey High staff who either donated items or helped in putting the packages together and getting them out to our families. It really does take a community in times like this to help each other out.
