Colour Run

On the last day of T3 we participated in the colour run and it was great fun for all.

Gardening                                  

This term we are doing some gardening. We started to prepare a garden patch last week by weeding. Who knew weeding could be so much fun? Next, we will plant some seedlings and care for them during the term. Maybe we will grow some vegetables that are good to eat.

Silkworms

Ms Sue gave us some silkworms to look after so that we are able to study their lifecycle. They love to munch through big mulberry leaves.

Celebrations

This term we are researching Celebrations around the world using Ipads and books. We started with Birthdays and will learn about The Moon Lantern Festival, Halloween, Diwali, Eid, Loy Krathong, Hannukah and Christmas. We will do a craft activity for each celebration and read folk stories from different countries to help us learn about Narrative writing.

Girls and STEM

The two girls in our class love joining other students from years 2-4 in the STEM building on Tuesday afternoons with Mr Wegner to do some STEM Team Challenges.

SPORTS DAY

Sports Day was so much fun and we all tried our best to earn points for our team. It was nice to see people being good sports and encouraging each other.
