Term 3 Week 3 Report

Our PBIS Blitz for the first 3 weeks of Term 3 has been “Too Far, Ignore, walk and talk.  There are posters all around the school to help you remember what to do if you are in a sticky situation.

Miss Junor and the Communication Team have filmed an episode of the PBIS news.  This will be available to watch in your classrooms.

The blitz for the next two weeks will be “Putting Rubbish in the correct bins”

You will find in each class that there is a bin for rubbish, a bin for recycle materials and a bin for Soft plastics.  We would like everyone to take the time to think about which bin you are putting your rubbish in.

Some more reminders about how to keep our school looking beautiful:

- Please finish eating your recess and lunch at the eating tables.

- We also have a rule at St Mary’s that you don’t take your food onto the oval or the multi-purpose area.

The winning grade level after the first 3 weeks of Term 3 is our Preps, Congratulations.

Week 3 Term 3 PBIS Award Winner

Our PBIS student of the week is from the Prep area.

Mrs Cox is delighted to have this student in her class this year.  She thinks that she is a very resilient student both inside and outside the class.  she is using the ‘Too Far, Ignore, Walk, Talk strategy to help you in sticky situations - I would also like to add that Ivannah-Rose is my buddy and I am honoured to present this award to her today!   Well done Ivannah, keep up the great work.

Congratulations Ivannah Rose Murley on being our PBIS Student Of the Week!

Well done and keep on helping to make the classroom a happy place!
