Catholic Identity

                                        Mercy Prayer

We pray for the Sisters of Mercy, who established our school and for the priests who have served at

St. Mary’s.  It is through their vision,  determination and strong faith that we enjoy the benefits of a

                                                                   Catholic Education here in Mooroopna.

We are proud to be a Mercy School, where the values of love and justice are taught and lived every day.

Family Mass

Congratulations to everyone who was able to attend the Parish Family Mass last Sunday.  A special thanks to the Senior Unit Staff and students who took on special roles at the mass including reading, altar serving and organising the music and singing.  It was great to see a great "splash of red' at mass with many of our Confirmation candidates attending and wearing their red sash.

Confirmation Program-  for Grade Six students

Congratulations to the nineteen students from Grade Six who have commenced the Sacramental Program for the preparation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.  The children have been working on their program workbook at home.  They are also having  preparation sessions at school and will  have  an opportunity to practise for the ceremony as well with less than four weeks till their special day.  We will be one of the last schools to have a visit from Bishop Leslie before he retires at the end of September.  Please keep these children in your prayers.
