Welcome back everyone, to a wonderful new school year. There’s a happy buzz in the air that is coming from the students and the staff.

Last year the students missed out on seeing and having the opportunity to borrow any of the shortlisted books from Book Week 2021. So they are now on display in the library and students are welcome to borrow them. 

Many new books were added to the library collection late last year, and I look forward to seeing the students coming in to borrow them. Loans are for 2 weeks and the books must be either returned by that time, or re scanned to extend the loan period. Please help your children this year to keep track of the books they bring home, and when they are due back.

I would like to say thank you to the person who donated several lovely handmade library bags, sometime during the last week of last year. Let me know who you are so I can give you a Covid-safe hug.  They have already been given out to children without library bags and I am sure they thank you too. If your child has brought home any of these bags and they want to continue using it for their library bag, please write their name on it. On the other hand if they will be using a different bag for library, please return the handmade one, so another child can use it.
