Principal's News

Carmel Stutterd

Good afternoon families,

I hope you have all had a good week and have had some time to enjoy the sun. It has been a busy week as Specialist classes started along with swimming training and Gr 6 interschool sports.

It has been fantastic to feel like the school is operating 'normally'.

We have a number of students and their families who are isolating and our prayers and thoughts go out to those families and we look forward to seeing you all soon back at school.

Many of the the students have RAT kits in their bags so please look out for them.

Thank you to the teachers and parents for making the time for the Meet and Greets this week, and according to the teachers they went very well and it was a great opportunity to talk to each parent and find out a little more about the students in their class.

 Camp Gr 5

Our grade 5 classes are off to camp next week. They are going in 2 groups, 5MO & 5DM are going Monday to Wednesday and 5BE & 5CP are going from Wednesday to Friday. They will be camping outside in tents and enjoying all outside activities at Phillip Island Adventure Resort.

Just a few reminders from last year's newsletters

Music lessons this year are for P-4 and the Gr 5 & 6 classes are having STEM classes with Mr Wood.

Our school production is scheduled for 24-27 October at the Frankston Art Centre, and all students from P-6 will be involved.

School Building ( Administration Block)

The plans have been completed and are now with Kingston Council. We are about to go out to tender and hopefully we can start in May if everything stays on track. I will continue to keep you updated.

 Have a lovely weekend

regards
