Building project
Our building project took a big step forward this week with potential builders visiting the school to help them prepare their tenders to build the new facilities. A reminder of those facilities are::
At Banksia campus:
- “Administration Building Construction”. To construct a new administration facility for the campus in line with that already existing at the Acacia campus. Demolition of existing thereafter.
- “New Car park Construction” to increase the capacity for on-site parking for staff, parents and visitors and to provide a safe drop off and pick up point for the inter-campus bus and families transporting students.
At Acacia campus:
“Refurbishment of existing Music Department”. To construct a new Music facility for the campus in line with that already existing at the Banksia campus
We are expecting completion of these works by the end of the year
Year 7 Meet and Greet
On Wednesday 9th March our annual Year 7 ‘Meet and Greet’ will be held on each campus where the parents of our students (plus of course the students themselves) are invited to come to the school between 6::00pm and 7:00pm to meet the teachers of Year 7
Parent Teacher Interviews
Our Term One Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews will be held on Tuesday 5th April. We will be holding them via WebEx from 12:00midday to 7:00pm
More details to follow through Compass
COVID update
The mask rules have changed for everyone this week and our students and staff will not be mandated to wear masks, however, all members of the college community are encouraged to wear them when not able to socially distance. It is also very important we continue to sanitise our hands as often as possible and socially distance when we can.
More rapid antigen tests have been distributed to students and we ask that testing continue to slow the spread of the virus. The school has received 106 air purifiers that we have placed around the school in accordance with DET guidelines

Would you please ensure that your contact details are updated if they have changed since last year. Recent events have emphasised the importance of the school being able to contact you by phone, email and by post if necessary.
