Resource Centre

It has been wonderful to see so many junior students borrowing fiction and non-fiction books as well as magazines to read, across diverse genres and interests. Both Year 7 and Year 8 students have had the opportunity to visit the Resource Centre, browse the shelves and also choose from the wide range of new books on display. There have also been some excellent recommendations from these students for books to purchase that their fellow students would enjoy reading. It is great to have input from the students with regard to book recommendations as it enriches the collection.
Senior students have also taken the opportunity to explore the wide range of resources that are relevant to their curriculum and special projects that they are embarking on for their Year 11 and 12 studies.
Students in Years 8-11 with overdue books from 2021 have received reminder notices to return those books and many students have been very prompt in returning those books. A last notification will be sent next week for the return of overdue items so that 2021 documentation can be finalised. I urge all students in Years 8-12 to return both library and textbooks that are overdue or to contact Resource Centre staff to resolve any issues regarding the returning of items.
