House News -  Monoceros  

Term two has seen the students of Monoceros participate in a variety of events: the Athletics and Cross Country carnivals and Founders Day activities. 

Monoceros finished equal second in the Athletics with the following students winning their respective age group champions.

Alexis Jackson                    –             Year 8 Girls

Marcus Versoza                –             Year 9 Boys

Juan Wani                            –             Year 9 Girls

Chris Lampard                   –             Year 11 Boys

Anthony Mam                   –             Year 12 boys

Our Cross country results saw the house finish fifth, with the following students winning their respective age group champions.

Juan Wani                            –             Year 9 Girls

Kalani Sepelage                –             Year 12 Girls

Well done to our age group champions and everyone else who competed in both carnivals.

On Founders Day, Monoceros ran a successful hot chips stall and I would like to thank all those who helped with the stall, we sold 220 buckets of chips. A big thank you to those students who assisted at the Sumo Wrestling and Just Dance activities. I look forward to seeing all Monoceros students continue to represent Monoceros with pride in future events this year.
