As a school, ENPS has committed to becoming a ‘Resource Smart’ and more sustainable organisation.
Notes
We are sending our communication about excursions, incursions and classroom information via Compass. We have made a conscious decision to reduce paper usage as much as possible.
Green Bins
Students can compost their raw food waste directly through green bins in the classroom and around the school.
Recycling
Students are encouraged to recycle all materials where possible and students can volunteer to take recycling materials to our bins each day.
Sustainable Choices
Students are encouraged school-wide to make sustainable choices, such as saving electricity and water, or encouraging using reusable containers for lunches. We would like all of the community to reflect on what they can change to become a more sustainable citizens.
Nude Food
We are committed to reducing waste that is generated from lunch boxes and promote ‘Nude Food’, food without excess packaging that will end up in landfill. Students are encouraged to bring food in lunch boxes or containers that do not include packages for the rubbish bin.
