House Teams

Students are allocated to a House Teams, for sporting carnivals and other whole school events. They stay in the same house throughout their years at school.
In 2022 ENPS revealed new House Team names, and in doing so demonstrating our commitment and respect to the First Nations people of our area, the Wurundjeri people. The traditional language of the Wurundjeri people of this area is Woi Worrung. As so, we have translated our House Team names to the language of our true history of ENPS. Play this audio file below to hear how to pronounce each team name.

House Team / PE Uniforms
In 2024, our students and staff partnered with with Narungga/Kaurna and Trawoolwaway artist Daen Sansbury-Smith for our remarkable House Team Shirts project. The official launch of our ENPS House Team and PE uniforms was held in September 2024, with families, VIPs, School Councillors, local community partners, and advocates joining us for an assembly and smoking ceremony led by the Wurundjeri Council and Elder Perry Wandin.
This project strengthened our community’s learning and understanding of First Nations perspectives, the traditional custodians of the land, the Wurundjeri people, and connection to the four elements of Country; Wiin (fire), Gurrin (wind), Baan (water), Biik (earth).
