Music chair donations

With the opening of the new Performing Arts building in 2019, we are busily working on ordering furnishings and fittings for it. The Friends of Performing Arts have successfully fundraised over the past years for professional music chairs, called the Nota chair by Wenger. We currently have enough money to purchase 35 of these chairs, thanks to the generous support of the community.

If you are interested in donating funds to purchase more chairs (we need approximately 60), please contact the school on 9488 2300 to complete a credit card purchase form. Each chair costs $249. A plaque on the back of the chair will be dedicated to families who donate to purchase a complete chair.

Northcote High School’s Music Program offers a wide variety of musical experiences and has a number of vibrant performing groups. Our program includes music camps, tours and concert as well as tuition on a wide range of instruments. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to experience the joy of making music and we strongly encourage you to consider taking music at Northcote High School. Next year the Music program will move in to our new home in the brand new Performing Arts Centre. This exciting and modern space is a great place to share the joy of Music making. Students from all year levels with all levels of experience are encouraged to join the Music Program in 2019.

If you are interested in enrolling in this fun and social program, please contact the Music office on 94882336 or collect an enrolment form from the Music office.
