Our exchange students in Monte Carlo
Our group of exchange students arrived in Nice at the start of December. Although we have been here for a relatively short time, we have already done a lot of things.
Students stay with their host families and attend school; both regular classes with their exchange partners and specific French language classes. We also go on excursions. For example, we have visited the national perfume museum in Grasse. Students discovered how perfume is made. They finished the tour with a workshop where they had to create their own fragrance.
We have visited old cities with 12th century cathedrals, enjoyed the views and walked through markets. A few days ago, we visited Monaco and went to Monte Carlo. The opulence and luxury of Monte Carlo contrasted with some of the old villages we visited earlier this week.
It is an incredibly rich cultural and linguistic experience. Our students share the lives of their host families and get a rare insight into French everyday lifestyle.
We are all having a great time and with still have a lot more to do and discover until we fly back home on the 23rd of December.

Au revoir,
