A message from our Principal
Dear St. Brendan's School Community,
The children came back refreshed after the long weekend and I finally had a Collingwood win which was fantastic.
Many thanks to all parents for their understanding in wearing masks and not entering the school grounds. As restrictions ease, I will give notifications through the School App of new Protocols and Procedures for school.
Reports
Teachers are completing the Semester One Reports. The Reports will be sent home next Thursday, 22nd June.
Friday, 23rd June will be the end of Term 2 and School will finish at 2.20pm. School Buses will all run an hour earlier.
Next Week
Specialist programs will not operate as teachers will have a planning day to prepare for the following term. Specialist teachers will be in the classrooms to work with children.
St. Brendan's Parents and Friends
Thanks to Belinda Riseley and Ronnyne Magill for organising the Parents and Friends meeting at Teller. There was a very good attendance and it was lovely to see some new Mothers attend. There will be more updates regarding activities soon.
Assemblies
Hopefully next term we will be able to have Unit Assemblies on a Friday. We won't be able to hold a Whole School Assembly as we haven't enough room in the Hall.
As this will be the last Newsletter for the Term,
I would like to wish you all a safe and relaxing holiday, and stay safe.
Thanks to all Staff, parents and students for being so understanding during this term. Enjoy your time with your family and I'm looking forward to seeing our family in Melbourne.
Just a reminder that Monday, 12th July is a Professional Development Day and is a Pupil Free Day. The first day for students will be Tuesday, 13th July.
Kind regards and take care,
Paula Stevenson (Principal)
