Project Green 

Emergency/Dignity bags

Project Green students have been busy sewing emergency/dignity bags that will be filled with essential items to help local members of the community in times of crisis (Fire, Flood, Domestic Violence and Eviction etc.). Project Green has already been sewing washable face masks, dress up crowns for kids and washable sanitary pads which will be included in the woman’s/ teen bags. 

The bags will be handed to local organisations to be distributed to local community members in need (any leftover bags will be donated to Share the Dignity charity).

We are at the stage of filling these bags with essential items and are seeking donations from our community to complete the bags. 

Please find below a list of items that will be included in each bag.  

*Toothbrush- Adults and kids

*Toothpaste

*Deodorant

*Shampoo and Conditioner

*Soap and Body wash

*Comb or Brush

*Hand Sanitiser

*Tissues or Handkerchief

*Kids Colouring book and pencils

ALL ITEMS NEED TO BE UNOPENED AND IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING

If you are able to donate any of these items, Guyra Central School will have collection tubs located at the front office, Secondary - Room 2, Secondary - Room 3.  

Any donation is greatly appreciated and going to a very worthy cause.
