Children's Book Council Australia

Hilary, Joan, Laura and Melinda attended the Children’s Book Council Australia Judges Talk for 2021 held in Bendigo recently at The Quality Inn.

They were introduced to books that were shortlisted for Book of the Year for Older readers, Younger readers, Early Childhood, Picture Book, the Eve Pownall Award and New Illustrator Award. Winners from these categories will be announced in August during Book Week.

The ladies had the pleasure of meeting the author of ‘We Are Wolves’, Katrina Nannestad. They also met Chris Kennett, author of ‘If You're Happy and You Know It’ and ‘Pixel’ just to name a few; and Illustrator of ‘Nerd Hero’.
