5LR: CHPS Values

At Friday’s Senior Assembly, Megan talked about the importance of showing kindness and empathy. As people, it’s really important to learn how we can be more empathetic and to set goals to try and show these more often at school and at home.

When we came back to the classroom, 5LR unpacked the values of Empathy, Kindness and Respect. We also explored further the ideas of being strong for ourselves and being even stronger for others, which isn’t always easy to do! In groups, we thought about what these terms meant, how we can show them and how we can help others show them as well.
