Boys' Boarding News

Another week of fun and learning opportunities were part of Boys’ Boarding this week.

At last Friday’s Swimming Carnival, the boys shone, competing in numerous races and bringing home ribbons!

On Saturday the boys went to the Under 15 Basketball Grand Final to support Whiskey and Hartley. The boys came up short but both contributed to what was an entertaining and good quality game.

In a week where boarders are returning home to be with family for Easter, it was pleasing to see the boys still engaged in their learning, whether it be science experiments or VET training.

Looking back over the term the boys can be very proud of what they have achieved. It has been particularly pleasing to see the way they have come together to be a happy, fun loving, adventurous, energetic group of mates who have been prepared to test themselves in both the classroom and the ‘playground’.

A particular thanks to all the staff who have generously given of their time to support the boys, in particular House Parents Paul, Marea, Trent, Hamish, Will and Tony.

We look forward to seeing what the boys will achieve in Term 2. Happy Easter.
