Parents & Friends (PFA)

Picnic on the Green

What a return of the social events at the school. Thanks to all those who turned out last Friday and if you didn’t make it you missed a great night. Fortunately, we’re just warming up and there are plenty more events in the pipeline.

Thanks to all our BBQ helpers on the night as well as those who helped set up and clean up.

Mothers' Day

With Mothers' day just over a week away we have a couple of great things happening at the school to celebrate. On Friday morning commencing at 7:30am there will be a Mothers' Day Breakfast provided by the PFA, in the Padua. Get the kids ready a bit early and come on down for what’s always a great morning catchup. More details to follow and a Coffee Cart will be in attendance who those who need it.

Mothers' Day Stall

The PFA committee has been working hard behind the scenes and will be rolling out a new Mothers Day stall concept this year. We have a local Florist who will be on-site next Friday to provide the kids the opportunity to purchase flowers or a pot plant for their mum or the special lady in their life.

More details to come but flowers will be available from 50c through to $20, and again this will be a fundraiser for the school & PFA.

Bunnings BBQ

If you haven’t already heard we have secured a converted spot at Bunnings Moorabbin on Sunday 16th May to hold a BBQ with all funds raised going to the school. On top of this, with thanks to Isabella’s parents (Grade 2), Gabrielle Harkins and Henry Siegrist we’ve be able to score all the sausages free of charge from none other than Peter Bouchier Butchers. A huge result for the school and a great Fundraising opportunity.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch though and we’re calling on the school community to help out on the day cooking and selling the sausages.  Please visit the link below and sign up to the roster:

Those who purchased tickets to the cancelled event from last year still have credit for this year and we hope to see as many ladies as we can at this event.

Dad’s & Kids Movie Night

Confirming the scheduled Dad’s & Kids Movie Night will proceed as planned on Thursday 3rd June. More details to come but it will be held in the Padua and commence around 6:30pm.
