Principal Report

A really big thank you and well done to everyone for a great Term 1. This term we have had a bit of everything; including remote learning, school-based learning, camps, excursions, meet the teacher interviews, hot days, wet days and a slow easing of the COVID restrictions.

Our Preps have had a tremendous start to their learning journey and overall they haven’t missed a beat. When I visit classrooms all of our students are engaged and focused on their learning. Thank you and well done to staff and students.

At Oatlands PS we are a values driven school. Values like respect, kindness, effort, resilience and creativity are central to us as a school. The behaviours associated with these values are a guide to the expectations of students, staff and our whole school community. Values such as these help us now and in our future as well.

On the second day of next term Tuesday 20th April  we have our ANZAC Day Ceremony at 9:30am, which will be televised live via YouTube. This telecast is a follow-up on the live telecast of our Dance production last year. Therefore there will not be any onsite parent attendance.

We hope you have a restful and safe school holidays and are able to spend quality time with family and friends.

Regards,

Wes Holloway
