Boarding

It is great to have the Year 12s back on campus after their camp, and the 'Meet the Year 12s Games’ Night' was a huge success with fun had by all. It was quite an experience to witness students wearing shower caps covered in shaving cream, with other students trying to land Cheezels on their head.
The Chinese New Year celebration hosted at the Headmaster's residence was a great way to come together as a community. Merck led the way with his planing and organisation which started with homemade table decorations all the way through to dumpling preparation. Each student invited a friend and especially given many boarders are a long way from home it was a really warm and enjoyable night.
6am Boarders fitness started this week, led by a very unfit Director of Boarding. Watching the sun rise over the beautiful Myrniong is an uplifting way to start the day, and we have had good turn out so far. Watch out for the boarders at the athletics carnival!
This weekend all boarders who are in-house for the weekend are heading to Port Fairy to enjoy a bit of beach time.
