Archeology & Ancient Egypt

On Wednesday 31st of July, 7D visited La Trobe University and learnt about Archeology and Ancient Egypt. The students worked co-operatively to undertake their own archeological dig, where they uncovered an array of ancient artifacts; all of which were clues about events from the past!

The class were then given the opportunity to view both human and animal remains from thousands of years ago that had undergone the process of mummification. The students were intrigued and listened to the presenters very well as they explained the story behind each of the mummies. Overall, it was a very exciting and informative day!
