Orchestra Victoria mOVe

Music students from across Western Victoria are deep in rehearsals as The Hamilton and Alexandra College hosts ‘On the mOVe’ this week at the Kantor Family Music and Performing Arts Centre.  Please come to the free concert on Thursday at 6:30pm in the Simons Auditorium to experience an extraordinary display of their endeavours over these three days.  This year a new initiative was launched with a Junior String workshop run by Mr John Noble (Violin OV) and members of Orchestra Victoria offering sectional rehearsals and a combined String Orchestra workshop to students from the region.

Term Three Instrumental Lessons

Instrumental and voice lessons recommence next week (Week 2).  Timetables have been emailed and are posted on the music noticeboards.

Seuessical

The cast, orchestra and crew of Seussical are working hard to bring you this fantastic musical.  Full of colour, life, amazingly quirky characters and songs that will make you laugh and maybe cry, the show promises to be one of the most memorable musical events of 2016.  Most suitable for all ages, tickets are on sale now at Senior Campus reception.  The cast would be delighted to play to full houses every night so bring your whole family, bring your whole street.

Opening night is Thursday 4th August (following SheepVention) and playing, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
