Junior Campus Library: It seems like no matter where I am, there is a bit of crazy happening! We have book week coming up in August and we are hoping to make it one to remember! We have our first library committee meeting for the semester this week and we hope to have the ideas flowing. Stay tuned to hear all about book week activities for 2016. We have already received most of the Short Listed books from the Children's Book Council of Australia and there is an incredible selection this year to go along with the theme of "Australia - Story Country". As part of this theme, we would like to hear stories from the children's families. I am sure there are some amazing stories hiding in the minds of our parents and grandparents. I have sent home a note this week requesting these stories be written down so we can share them with the College community.  We can only turn these stories into something fabulous if they are brought back to school! These stories could be bedtime stories that have been passed down in your family, a story about bravery in a war, a story of immigration, or just a funny story about your strange great uncle... the possibilities are endless.
