YEAR 11 CHEMISTRY

Year 11 Chemistry students were busy this week collecting experimental data to plot the solubility curve of an ionic compound. Well done team.

ROCKETS AT KSP

On the final day of Science Week 2022, the KSC Year 9 cohort visited Korumburra Primary School and Karmai Community Children's Centre as part of promoting Science Week to our community. To wrap up our visit we had a very exciting rocket launch. Thank you for celebrating National Science Week with us! BLAST OFF!

YEAR 10

The Year 10 classes have just wrapped up their Biology/Genetics unit in Science by investigating the genotypes and phenotypes of Ma Potato and Pa Onion, and their vegetable offspring. Classes collected genetic data and compared it to expected results and then created many and varied "vegie-mites". Well done year 10!

YEAR 12 BIOLOGY

Year 12 Biology Students went to GTAC on Thursday and completed a workshop exploring pathogens and immunity. They enjoyed working in a high tech laboratory and solving the case study of vaccinated and unvaccinated cows. A great day had by all!
