Inters Mixed Table Tennis

On the 18th of August a team of five students represented KSC in Table Tennis. The competition was held at the well set up Leongatha Table Tennis Club.

The team played both singles and doubles sets. After a thrilling four rubbers against other schools in our district, our team had lost one, and won three. Unfortunately this was not enough to claim the honours for the day.

The team worked well together and all team members played their best table tennis, and should be proud of their efforts on the day.

TERM 3 BASKETBALL

Year 7

We started the day with the boys getting a win against Mary MacKillop, playing a whole team game whilst demonstrating some high quality skills by numerous players. They proceeded through the day winning one more game, then going down to a much bigger team of Bass Coast College. They all showed high levels of sportsmanship both on and off the court during the whole day.

The girls unfortunately lost both games against Leongatha Secondary College and Bass Coast College, but there were many smiles throughout the day whilst most were having a go at a sport they had never played before. All students were a delight to have outside of school and overall, we had an enjoyable day.

Inters

On Thursday 18 July, a boys and girls intermediate basketball team travelled to Bass Coast Secondary College to compete in South Gippsland Tournament. Our girls’ team came away with 3 wins out of their 4 games, just missing out of making the grand final. The boys’ team fought really hard in all of their matches with their best performance coming against grand finalists, Mary MacKillop, where they were only down by a few points at half time. All players represented our school exceptionally and should be proud of their achievements on the day.
