Last week I had the opportunity to coach the School Sports Victoria U12 Girls Hockey Team at the School Sports Australia Hockey Championships. The girls had six training sessions leading into the tournament and were excited to play against the best players in Australia. While the team played some good hockey and scored a few exciting goals, they were unable to come away with a win. The last two years of playing very little hockey was quite evident when the girls came up against strong Queensland and ACT sides.

I am very grateful to the KSC community for allowing me the opportunity to coach at the tournament and I’m looking forward to the 2023 championships in Hobart.

Last weekend John was an umpire in the West Gippsland Reserves Semi final - Koo Wee Rup v Bunyip at Cora Lynn.

The McLean daffodil fields are blooming, aren’t they magnificent! For flower lovers, Mr McLean also planted about 200 metres of daffodils on Stevens Road. They are all flowering, and definitely worth a look!
