Assistant Principal - Curriculum 

'Living Well, Learning Well' continues to shape all that is happening at the college and was the foundation of the recent enrolment interviews for Year 7 2022 applicants and their families. Middle leaders led conversations based on the support framework, emphasizing that the partnership between family and school centres on the student and that when positive, this partnership strengthens the school community, and improves learning, wellbeing, faith development and life opportunities for students at McCarthy. Enrolment offers following these interviews were sent this week.

Parent, student, teacher conferences were held this week following the release of Semester 1 reports via Compass. Thank you to all families who engaged in the opportunity to discuss their child's learning.

Year 12  HSC Trials will commence in Week 3 of next term; exam timetables were distributed on Tuesday 22 June. I strongly encourage all Year 12 students to use the break time wisely to rest and rejuvenate and to revise each of their courses. Year 10 students will begin subject selection procedure next term, with commitment to 'Living Well, Learning Well' an integral part of the revised process.
