Principal's Report
Winter is with us...
This Friday is the final day of term. School concludes at 2:30pm, please be prompt with collection of children.
I hope you and your families have a wonderful, warm and safe holiday period, after what has been another unusual term.
We've had a lockdown and much interruption to our school and learning spaces. It is all looking like a bright time ahead, as we move toward occupancy of our new spaces.
We resume school on Monday 12 July, for term three.
The relocatable team continue to make great progress...
The pictures below show the extent of their work, with the remaining works to conclude in the holidays.
We will be left with the current rooms 14 & 15 and 18 & 19 being re-sited at the rear north-west corner of our existing site, to eventually comprise our "Senior Learning Centre" for our current Year 5/6 students and staff.
Upon students returning to school on Monday 12 July, they will take up occupancy in their new learning spaces - some on the expansion site and some on the existing site.
This Friday I will accompany all the staff and students in years F-2 onto the expansion site and into their new learning spaces. Obviously, this will be very exciting and my aim is to familiarise students a little with what they can expect upon their return from holidays.
On the first day of term three, I'm hoping you can all enter the new expanded site and successfully find your way to the new classrooms.
